Interesting both in texture and result. It looked and smelled like Vicks Vaporub but my skin feels very nice, I tried it on the back of my hands since they always seem extra dry and though they don’t look like I’m 13 again, they certainly feel more hydrated.
How exciting! My September Birchbox has arrived!
This month I was really happy with the surprises inside.
dr. brandt pores no more vacuum cleaner ($11.25)
I’m still not sure what to think of this. I had trouble spreading it well and the film was thinner than I expected. It did tingle and sort of turn blue but I’m not convinced my pores are deep cleaned. I will use up the sample and see if I notice a difference over time.
Noir Cosmetics Long-Wear Eyeliner in Black ($15.00)
Not sure if I’m going to try this one or pass it along. As you know, I don’t wear make up and when I do I’m not a fan of smudge proof stuff. Oh yeah, and I think black is too harsh and prefer grey.
RUFFIAN Nail Lacquer in RUFFIAN NAKED ($10.00) and Remover Towelette ($1.20)
Nude, hmmmm, kind of a cool concept. At first I really liked it, like reinventing the clear coat. But after two coats I wasn’t so impressed. It looks a little tawny and definitely looks better from a distance but you be the judge. (Just don’t judge my shitty paint job!!)
The remover was way cool!! A very chic black cloth and a masculine scent that totally revolutionized removing nail polish. The towelette was enough for both hands and my nails were left smooth, clean, and smelling scrumptious.
Suki exfoliating foaming cleaner ($1.65)
A super great foaming sugar scrub with the most fresh orange scent. It felt like breakfast although the granules are a little more coarse than I prefer. The result was refreshing!
Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream ($1.28)
Total value: $40.38 Hot Dang!! Great box and a super great value!!
